The amount of a contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the amount contributed, reduced by the value of any goods or services provided by the organization. Accordingly, no amount of the ticket is eligible for an income tax deduction.

 

IFAW is recognized as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has an IRS identification number of 31-1594197.  Contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
